Activities for all at the New Oxford Library
Pick up the current title in our Readers Forum Book Discussion group and share your thoughts with us. We spend time talking about the author, discuss the book and then recommend other titles to each other, Fiction, Nonfiction, Best Sellers and old favorites. Registration is required so we have enough books for everyone to read. The Readers Forum Book Discussion is an adult book discussion group meeting on the Second Thursday of the month at 9:00AM – 10:00AM. The library provides books for this group. The title for January 12th will be Water For Elephants by Sara Gruen. The book for Feb.9 will be Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson.
Your toddler to preschool children will enjoy our new program “Rhymes to Reading” with Jeanette and Jane. Rhymes and reading stories, handouts as well as some simple crafts are provided by the library. Please register for Friday morning 11:00AM – 12:00Noon, on December 9 and Dec. 23.
