Conversations at the New Oxford Area Library.
Life may be crazy and overwhelming but if you can, take time to sit, relax and read a good book.  Feel free to come to the library to share your thoughts about it. Our Readers Forum, an Adult Reader’s Group is reading Dog Tags by David Rosenfelt in December to be discussed on December 13 at 9:00AM. January 10, 9:00AM we will be discussing I Feel Bad About my Neck by Nora Ephron. Pick up a copy at the library and join us for some conversation at the library.

If you are looking at or have an Ereader and you want to know how to use it we have a Free class for you. Looking for a book to read on your Nook or computer?  The 3M Cloud Library is what you’re looking for!

Make time to take a FREE Computer Class at the library.  Searching the Internet, Email, Creating a Resume and Word- Basic Computer classes will be scheduled by appointment only on Monday mornings or Thursday mornings.  Call the library to register for a class.

Children, come and read to a pet one-on-one! Visit our Books with KPETS program at the library. Donna and Wendi and their pets will be here to listen to our readers.. These dogs are trained and tested for safety, skills and a calm nature; they are unintimidating and allow children to read at their own pace. We have a reading log for the kids to fill in- they will receive a free book for every 12 books they read to Meeko or Cullen and their friends.  Parents/ caregivers need to remain in the library during this program.  This program meets: Thursday, November 29 @ 6:30PM, Thursday, December 13 @ 6:30PM, Monday, December 17 @ 3:30PM
