Dig Into Reading, our Summer Reading Club for the children is coming to a close. We will be contacting our Bonus prize winners in the next week or so. We registered over 90 children and Susan will be adding up the minutes they read. Readers are winners.
I would like to thank the parents for the assistance with Crafts on Thursday morning Kindergarten Here I Come story times. We will continue our story times on Thursday mornings at 11:00 AM-12:00 Noon.  No registration required, just come in and join the other families for stories, handouts and time to talk with other parents.
Thursday, August 15 at 6:30 PM- Join Meeko and Cullen and their KPETS friends for a program on Pet Care. Children, come and read to a pet one-on-one!  Reading aloud to dogs: Increases enthusiasm for reading, develops reading skills, teaches children how to interact with animals and promotes confidence. Children have been writing a log of the books they have read to our dogs. They receive a free book when they have read 12 books. This is the last special program for the KPETS this summer. We will be posting the fall schedule for the Monday After School Program and the Thursday evening program.
