We also have several books to help you build your own model train layout.

Children will have the opportunity to meet a registered, certified pet and read to that pet, one-on-one. Reading aloud to dogs: Increases enthusiasm for reading, develops reading skills, teaches children how to interact with animals and promotes confidence. Our KPETS dogs are: Meeko, Cullen, Sailor, Quendolyn and Casi.

Come to the New Oxford Library on Mon. Dec 8 at 6:30PM and on Thurs. Dec 18 at 6:30PM. Come for a special visit with Casi on Mon. Dec. 29th at 6:30PM.

Kindergarten Here I Come Storytime is scheduled all year on Thursday mornings from 11:00AM - 12Noon for preschool children ages 3 to 5 years old. We will have stories, handouts and activities from the Kindergarten Here I Come calendar.

The Office of Child Development and Early Learning developed a calendar packed with fun activities that also help develop all the skills young children need. These learning areas are connected to Pennsylvania's Early Learning Standards. Come to the library for a time for kids to listen and play with each other and time for parents and caregivers to talk and get books.
